Meeting was held April 2nd 2007 Items discussed were the anual beach cleanup, work projects at the harbor, and the dinghy docks. Bill Trainor and Dean Doty were in attendance.

The anual beach cleanup will be held on April 21st @ 9A.M. Meet at the Mount Sinai Yacht Club. After coffee and pastries garbage bags will be passed out with a assigned area in wich to clean. The more members in attendance will make this task easier.

According to Bill Shilling Deputy Parks comm. the docks are being installed and will be complete by the end of this month. The bulkhead project continues to make progress. The town is in talks with the DEC to extend the bulkhead. The town was to meet on the 3rd to discuss some type of  lottery for people interested in the use of the dinghy dock.  I will try and keep you posted. Most of the lighting has been installed. It is a large white pole spaced on the perimeter of the parking lot. New roofing is set to begin this month on the concession stand, tower and maintenance building. The parking lot will be restriped this spring.

It turns out the pumpout barge requires water and electricity to be operational. The barge will have to be tied to one of the docks. One suggestion was at the end of the boat ramp docks. I'm sure this topic will be discused futher.
