On Monday night 4/9 (that's only a week away!) we'll host a racing seminar
given by MSSA members for those who want to learn a bit more about racing.

If you're a beginner, or even an intermediate racer, you'll want to join us
for a fun knowledge sharing opportunity.

When: Monday night 4/9/07 from 6:30 pm to 9 pm
We will gather from 6:30-7 pm, and start promptly at 7 pm

Where: Port Jefferson Free Library, 473-0022
100 Thompson Street, Port Jefferson Village

Park behind “Starbucks” or “The Gap”, and walk two short blocks

Who: Racers (Beginners, Intermediates, and WannaBee’s)

What: MSSA Racing Seminar Seminar will be given by, and for, MSSA members

Schedule/Outline:

6:30 – 7 pm – Gather and Introductions, we will start promptly at 7 pm
7 pm - 7:15 pm – The MSSA Racing Program
7:15 pm – 7:45 pm - Starting Strategies 101
7:45 pm – 8:15 pm – Upwind and Downwind Tactics
8:15 pm – 8:45 pm - Upwind and Downwind Sail Trim
8:45 pm – 9 pm - Developing Crew
