The 15th annual club cruise to Milford, Connecticut is once again the last cruise of the season. Our fleet will meet Saturday morning, 9:30 AM, at the Mt Sinai red & white, and depart for Milford. Return will be Sunday Afternoon.

We will “check in” at Milford Landing. They monitor VHF channel 9. Full facilities are available at Milford Landing. Milford Landing is great because it is so close!

Milford has events and things going almost every weekend. We will be communicating the attractions and items of excitement and you invited to check them out at www.ci.milford.ct.us . In 2006 there was an Irish Festival that was walk able from the marina and the quaint city is also an easy stroll from the marina. Shops, stores, food, etc.

ImageAfter we off load supplies, the beverages and food will emerge. Everybody brings stuff and we reserve the roofed pavilion, plug in and stoke up grills, warming trays, radios, etc. Folks wander into town and adventure about. There is casual food grazing after 3 and the kids and adults gnaw on ribs, dogs, burgers, cheese, dips, etc. Some go into town to many of the fine restaurants for a full dinner or just to see how the landlubbers are doing it. You can hang at the marina and cook out also on our grills or those provided by the marina.

Milford Landing has copies of menus in the office for you to look at and we will attempt to organize that list as the event approaches.. Also, find out which restaurants give discounts for staying at the Marina and BRING YOUR DOCKAGE RECEIPT with you to get a discount. Free Sunday Paper and coffee inside. Showers, and very nice facilities also.

Space is limited (and deep draft dockage, too although some dredging was rumored) at this popular spot. We had over 25 boats last year!!!

Watch the newsletter, website, your email, and the MSSA Cruise Google Group so you know when to call Milford Landing at 1 (203) 874-1610 and tell them you're from MSSA.
