May 19th & 20st mark those dates on your calendar. It’s MSSA’s first weekend cruise of the 2007 Season. Skywalker’s doing the cruise captain thing for this one. For you old timers out there, you know the drill. For the first timers, please call Dick or whoever answers the phone at Milford Landing Marina (203-874-1610) and tell them you're with the MSSA. Have your credit card handy and make a reservation. A credit card deposit is required with a 24-hr cancellation policy. Afterwards call April or me before 10pm (631-981-2208) or let us know with an e-mail. We'd like to keep tabs on who's going so we can tell everyone else when they ask. It also helps in planning the food & drink for the arrival party.

After a leisurely cruise across the sound, we will be checking in at the Milford Landing Marina. They monitor VHF channel 9. Full facilities are available, and those that have been there before know it is a beautiful and clean marina. As usual, we will host the wine and cheese cocktail party. It will begin around 4:00-4:30 p.m. on the patio at the marina. During the afternoon you can enjoy wandering around town, and if we are lucky, there may be a craft fair on the Milford Town Green.

Please call the marina as soon as possible to have your slip reserved since arrangements must be made well in advance of our arrival.

As most of you know already, lots of restaurants, a couple of pubs, things to look at and do, a nice marina, an ice-cream store that's hard to avoid, and the great company of fellow MSSA sailors. We laugh, we drink, we party, and we don't drive. Some have been known to have trouble walking, some make fools of themselves, & some don't. Be there and find out why we go to Milford twice a season.
