Milford Cruise II Report Print E-mail
September 15 2008

The Milford II Cruise was well attended by 10 boats. Celer, Charisma, Lu Sea's day, Sea Change, Radical 2, Sailors Dance, Full Circle, Skywalker II, Sound Advice and Atlantis. On saturday morning the weather cleared before 9:30 am for the ride over but the wind was out of the north right on our bow. AT 4:00 pm we held our Cruisers party on a patio, with tables and covered by a tent at the Milford Landing Marina. There was no Cruise Captain so everyone brought something to share with the group which worked out very well. One thing great about Milford Landing is the short walk into the village to be able to dine out for dinner. Saturday night around 10:00 pm the rain came and did not stop until sunday morning about 9:30 am. The skies cleared and the sun came out and this time the wind was directly out of the south right on our bow for the ride back to Mount Sinai. Milford Landing is always a great place to visit. I am certain it will always be on the MSSA Cruising schedule. Thanks to all Cruisers who participated to make this MSSA Cruise a success.
