in the area of Mount Sinai Harbor, Long Island, NY. The Association was founded in 1975 and now includes more than one hundred and fifty families. Most members own sailboats which are moored or docked in Mount Sinai Harbor, but membership is open to anyone interested in sailing on the Long Island Sound, regardless of boat ownership. Yearly activities include raft-ups, beach parties, cruises, and races during the sailing season. There are also monthly meetings and social activities in the off season.

I was down chipping some ice at the Beneteau yesterday in an effort to make my way below to see how some speakers were going to fit in the saloon. Discretion and valor contended and the former won out as I said out loud, "What are you crazy?" This and other projects will have to wait until at least a minor thaw comes our way. 
BRRR. Have you all had enough of this cold weather? I sure have. All that warm weather in the beginning of the winter had us all spoiled. It’s been a long week with snow and ice on Valentines Day and bitter cold the remainder of the week. While I type this report the great American race is on television. Rednecks driving in circles at 200 MPH. Does it get any better than this?
