Mount Sinai Sailing Association - Sailing Long Island Sound Sailing

Welcome to the MSSA!

The Mount Sinai Sailing Association is a non-profit Long Island Sound Sailing organization dedicated to affordable family cruising, racing, and social interaction among sailing enthusiasts Long Island Sailing in the area of Mount Sinai Harbor, Long Island, NY. The Association was founded in 1975 and now includes more than one hundred and fifty families. Most members own sailboats which are moored or docked in Mount Sinai Harbor, but membership is open to anyone interested in sailing on the Long Island Sound, regardless of boat ownership. Yearly activities include raft-ups, beach parties, cruises, and races during the sailing season. There are also monthly meetings and social activities in the off season.

The 2010 Master Schedule Has Been Updated

All of the schedules and calendars on the web site have been updated.

Cruise Schedule - Note updates from original schedule (Milford 1 and Westbrook)

Race Schedule - Note that the SYC Harbor Cup and the MSYC Brad Amato Regatta will not be held. MSYC is talking about a replacement Regatta so stay tuned. There are two new "Start Night" events this year and the Fall Series has been moved up one week so there's not such a large gap between Summer Series and Fall Series.
